Hello, I’m Hilary (Haripriya)
For a long time, my life was defined by the weight of others' emotions. Growing up with a mother who was unable to provide the support I needed and a father who was not there, I carried a heavy mantle of guilt, hyper-responsibility, and a quiet belief that I was never "enough." From the age of 13 to 18, I was sent to wilderness programs and therapeutic boarding schools, suffering from anxiety and digestive issues that felt like physical manifestations of my emotional distress.
The shift began when I stopped trying to manage and fix everyone else and finally started listening to myself.
These feelings of disconnection followed me into adulthood, but they also led me to my calling. I discovered that when I connected with Yoga, Ayurveda, and the healing arts, I wasn't just "treating symptoms"—I was finally learning how to live a life supportive of all the layers of my being: body, mind, and spirit. It was a gift to finally take my wellness into my own hands and understand, for the first time, what made sense for me and why.
My Mission & Work
Today, I support adult children of mothers who display traits of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)—those who are exhausted from a lifetime of walking on eggshells. My mission is to help sensitive, thoughtful people like you rebuild your sense of self, set clean boundaries, and live without the constant threat of emotional volatility.
My work is informed by a lifetime of navigating these complexities, including the personal breakthrough of going no contact with my mother six years ago. I am still navigating that relationship from afar, a journey that has only deepened my empathy for the difficult choices my clients face.
A Holistic Path to Peace
As an RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Vedic Psychology Teacher, and Trauma-Informed Coach, I combine ancient wisdom with modern healing. My approach is grounded in:
Becoming a mother myself allowed me to work even more deeply on these layers, seeing firsthand how our own childhoods impact how we parent. In addition to my private practice, I volunteer in hospice and remain an "eternal student," continuing to learn from my studies and from my son, who is my smallest, biggest teacher.
Your peace is not selfish. It is sacred. As much as I believe in the power of therapy, sometimes you simply need to talk to someone who has walked the path. I am here to listen, gently guide, and remind you that simple, gradual changes can lead to a life of profound joy and balance.
